Past Hero's Wishes
Hi, my name is Charles, and I’m in the Air Force. My “Hero's Wish” is for Park Hopper and Genie+ passes for Disneyland and California Adventure Park. This past year has been tough on my family. My wife went through a very traumatic pregnancy and delivery with my son. Five days after his birth, I received a phone call saying I was deploying for the third time. The day I was supposed to leave the first time (it got postponed three times), my family and I had a car accident. Luckily, the kids were okay in the accident, but my wife and I still got treatment for our injuries. I still deployed when my son was a month old, and my wife was still not released to pick up more than my son’s weight (Even through the roughest times, she’s still the strongest person I know). I just returned from deployment in January, and my son Nikolaus is now 10 months old. It’s always been a dream of mine to take my kids to Disney. Especially since my 4 and 6-year-old daughters, Audrey and Gwendolyn, are obsessed with Disney (not to mention my wife is too). After everything that has happened, I would love to be able to surprise my family with a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California. I respectfully request help with (4) four-day park hopper passes plus services. It would be my kid's first time going, and I know it is a HUGE dream of theirs. I have missed many birthdays, firsts, and events in the past six years and would love to be able to share this memory with them. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Surprise Family with Dream Disneyland Vacation!
My name is Jeremy. I am a Marine Corps veteran of two combat tours in Iraq. I received the Purple Heart in April 06, and that same month, I lost my best friend while he was operating in another part of Iraq. Currently, I work in EMS, and my wife is a nurse. We want to be able to take our boys to an awesome game! My boys, 13 & 10, are dying to see a Tennessee Titans game in Tennessee with decent seating. I work EMS, and my wife is a nurse, but good tickets are not on our budget!

I would love to be able to afford a trip for my family to Disneyland. After coming back from deployment it has been a struggle to get things in order, but we finally did. I would love to be able to give my family a break for just a couple days. We are a family of 4 and recently have finally settled back into life after my deployment. I would love to be able to finally make my daughters wish come true by finally being able to take them to Disneyland.

Family trip to Disneyland
My name is Martin, and I'm currently serving as an active duty marine on deployment and will be returning back to the States in October. The Los Angeles Lakers game I'd like to attend is a chance for my wife and me to enjoy each other's company while enjoying our love of the NBA scene after this long separation. Throughout this deployment, I've missed out on countless cherished moments and significant events, all while being far from the one person who means the most to me. We both share a passion for basketball and the NBA, and being able to witness the Lakers in person would be a dream come true as we are Lakers fans and enjoy the competitive scene. Any Lakers game would be awesome. The challenges of constant training and deployment have tested me but mainly my wife who has shouldered everything back at home, but the thought of surprising my wife and making up for lost time fills me with excitement. Your consideration of granting this wish would mean the world to me. I’m hoping you can help make this wish come true, giving us the chance to reconnect and celebrate would mean the world. Thank You.

I would like to start off by saying thank you so much to Janel and the other donors who donated. Thanks to the Vettix organization who made this opportunity and wish possible. Me and my wife had a great time at the game, it felt unreal to both of us to see a Lakers game and our first basketball game in person. Thank you again Vettix and donors for giving us this opportunity.

Post Deployment Los Angeles Lakers Basketball Game
Hello, my name is Jason, I am a USMC infantry squad leader. I’m a huge fan of the band Tool and have been for 23 years. I have never gotten the chance to see them in concert and the tickets are too much for me to get one right now as I’m approaching bankruptcy. Cost of living and other financial hardships combined with the ridiculous cost of living in rural Washington. In 2009 I was deployed as a USMC infantry squad leader on my third deployment as part of the 2nd marine expeditionary battalion and the first boots on the ground in President Obamas 2009 surge to end the war. I was wounded in when my squad came under fire and were drawn into a complex ambush of machine guns and rpg fire. I died twice on my medevac and almost lost my arm and was put into a coma with multiple face and skull fractures and a degloving of my right and dominant arm. My wish is to attend the Tool concert at the Moda Center in Portland Oregon in October.

Hello, I am currently on my 2nd deployment in 2 years and would love to surprise my parents back home in New Jersey and set up a gathering at a New Jersey Devils game. Due to being stationed overseas and now incurring back-to-back deployments I have not been back to my hometown in almost 10 years. My wife has also been dealing with my time away and with her own struggles of being an active duty wife and I want her to be the one to help surprise them. Both my wife and I and my parents are huge hockey fans so this would be a great opportunity to get back together for something we all love as a family. Unfortunately, with travel/flight costs and increasing ticket prices, we are hoping for 4 tickets to a game later in October with the start of the new season, maybe even enjoy a dinner all together at the game too. It has been hard missing out on all the celebrations of birthdays, holidays and family gatherings that have come and gone throughout the years but this one would for sure make up for it. Thank you all for your time reading this and Thank You to Vettix and for the Vettix community.

Post Deployment Surprise for my Family to New Jersey Devils hockey game.
My Name is Terry. For my 10th wedding anniversary, I promised my wife we’d go somewhere amazing. We booked flights and a cruise to Alaska. 5 days before the scheduled cruise, I received noticed I had to go to a mandatory training and then would be deployed on an extended deployment. We had to cancel our anniversary trip and I had to leave her to manage our home like a rock star with 3 kids by herself. One of our children has moderately severe autism and the other two are two years old and one year old, so it’s certainly a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Here it is, almost a year later from our cruise cancellation and my wife discovered that two of her favorite things are happening in NYC. Josh Groban is playing in Sweeney Todd on Broadway. She loves his music and Sweeney Todd is OUR favorite musical. I’d love to be able to get away with her and take her to New York City for a few days to celebrate surviving deployment and our 10th (make that 11th) Anniversary.

We had such a great time seeing Sweeney Todd on Broadway. Truly without the generous support by Kimberly, Aislin, David, Anita and Timothy, it wouldn’t have been possible. We had great seats up and close (so my wife could fan-girl over Josh Groban) and it really helped us reconnect as a couple.

My name is Matthew. I am currently serving my 6th tour overseas in the Middle East. I am married to my loving wife and we have 3 boys ages 12, 8, and 7. After 16 years of active service I want to take the chance to put my wife and boys first and treat them to this wish to visit Disney World. Our wish is for my family to have a magical Disney World experience when I complete this deployment. We would be visiting from 9-13 October. Transportation and Lodging accommodations are covered, we are asking for help in attaining 4-day park hopper passes plus option for my family of 5. Thank you for reading and supporting this for my family.

Family Disneyland Wish
My name is Bradley and I am in the US Army. Mina and I are currently engaged and we will be bringing 4 daughters and one son into our blended family. My children live with their mom in Kansas City MO and it’s tough most times however, my soon to be additional daughters Aria and Layla are amazing kids thanks to their mom. We have come together perfectly as a family and I couldn’t have found such a better blessing to spend my life with. My career sends me away often and even when I’m home I’m still sent away for special missions and additional training. I missed out on Layla’s birthday this year while in Iraq and she has been begging to go to the Drake concert and pleading that she won’t ask for anything for Xmas. We are more than excited for this event and I am truly grateful for getting the opportunity to deliver a memorable night with my new family. 2 years have flown by and most have been apart so this event would be perfect for capturing a moment together. I’m wishing for 4 tickets for my family to go see Drake after I return from deployment. This wish is in hopes to make my daughter’s birthday wishes come true. I’m always extremely busy and this would be a much needed and very memorable family night. We are all so grateful in advance for the consideration and look forward to great news. Thank you.
