I am a big OU Sooners fan. I am coming home for R&R 1 January, 2011. This bowl game is a dream of mine and my wife's. I want to do something for her since she has been my rock through this deployment to Afghanistan. We never had a honeymoon and not sure if we ever will because money is tight when you are a E4; She never complains though. She always puts me first. We do not have a PX at the FOB I am on, so she always keeps the boxes coming. Even when we are broke, she always finds enough to send me necessities. I can say that we have become closer though we are 7,000 miles apart. I know the Fiest Bowl is a big dream. I would be in heaven if this came true. God bless you all for what you are doing. You make everything I do worth it. Knowing that we have people who care and support us no matter where we are, well that makes me feel good to be a soldier! Thank you and God bless America!
