My name is SSgt Antonio Antunez. I retired from the USAF in 2020 after serving for 14 years, I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, on my 1st deployment to Iraq in 2007 and my squad was ambushed by small arms fire and I was wounded in an IED blast. I received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star with Valor for the injuries that I sustained and for saving the life of our interpreter by rushing inside the burning HUMVEE and getting him out to safety while engaging the enemy under fire, I was awarded a BSM with Valor. I suffer from multiple medical issues due to my injuries during my five deployments in the service. I was medically retired in 2020 after I couldn't keep up with all of my injuries and decided to actually take care of myself, the USAF medical team told me that I couldn't keep hiding all my injuries and that it was time to heal and that has been and will be a long journey for me and my family. My daughter and my fiancé have supported me through all of my journey it's hard on them, but I can find love and support in them every time. After I was medically retired COVID hit and we have not been able to have a vacation, first was my Medical Evaluation Board and that was very stressful and then COVID made it even worse for my family and I. It would be an incredible experience to visit Disneyland with my family. I would like to request 3 five-day park hopper passes, to take my family this will start a journey to heal physical and mentally injuries and it would be a great to experience that with my family who has always been there for me, thank you.
