My name is Joe Miller I joined the military in 2006 served six years in the Army as an infantryman. I joined the military because I was young and had a baby on the way and I had no idea how I was going to provide. I wasn't all too patriotic then, but uncle Sam and I are best friends now. We play golf on the weekends haha! I was wounded in combat and I'm a Purple Heart recipient I lost the hearing in my left ear and a lot of hearing in my right ear I took shrapnel on my legs. I'm grateful to still have my limbs and eyesight. Last Year I made a promise to my wife that I would get her and the kids tickets to see her favorite artist in the world Luke Combs in Columbus on July 23, 2022. I promised I would get her close to the stage and recently I looked at the prices and I had knots in my stomach. We've never been to a concert before and I didn't know how expensive it was. My wife has been my rock. She took care of me at my worst times and she took care of me at my best times. She is a mother to my kids and I couldn't have asked for a better person in my life. She works so hard at everything she does and never does anything for herself. Knowing I can't afford these tickets hurts my heart and I know that she'll completely understand but I would still love to surprise her. This would be the best dream come true for me, and her. The kids will love it too. I have never asked anyone for anything but if there's a chance I can help her wish come true (which is my wish) I'm going to try whatever I can. I'm a very humble person and very grateful. I'm grateful for what I have and I never complain about the things I don't have. Thank you for reading this.
