My name is US Air Force Chaplain, James Armstrong. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan for 6 months. I return from the AOR in April and hope to go to Florida with my family in May to reconnect. This year is especially hard as my two kids will be leaving home for college. I essentially lost their last year at home with them. My wish is to take my family to swim with the dolphins at the Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL.

I believe experiencing adventures together are what helps build strong families, and your organization provides a way to do that during the most needed time in a military family - post-deployment. These getaways help families reconnect away from the day to day and helps them build memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
