My name is Rachel Gillette and I am the proud daughter of Col. Stephen Scott. My father, Col. Scott gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country on April 6, 2008 while defending our country in Bagdad, Iraq. Col. Stephen Scott served in the Army for almost 30 years and was a true American Hero who is greatly missed every day. I am an older surviving child and I do not qualify for any of the trips that are offered for children and I have always felt like I am alone in my journey as I continue to heal. One of my most memorable trips that I took as a young child with my dad was to Disney World in Orlando, Florida and I would be grateful for the opportunity to take my 4 children on a surprise family vacation. As we all know, Disney World is costly and I have already contacted Shades of Green for our lodging and they are able to offer us a discounted rate as we are a Gold Star family. Our wish is for 6 four day park hopper passes. My family is so proud of our hero and would be overjoyed to take a trip together to create memories and remember our HERO Col. Stephen Scott.
