Whom It May Concern, Hello. I am a U.S. Marine who will be retiring after 20 years of active duty at the end of this year. I have served in Iraq and Afghanistan and have been a long time KISS fan. I was extremely happy when I discovered KISS are playing at the Richmond Coliseum on September 9th. I have only seen KISS in concert one other time. That was just before I joined the Marine Corps in 1996. I saw them in Lexington, Kentucky, near my hometown. I have decided to stay in Richmond, Virginia upon retiring from the Marine Corps and want to seize the opportunity to close out my military career by coming FULL CIRCLE and seeing KISS ALIVE one more time! I have spent 20 years of my life as a U.S Marine. I have traveled the world and lived in so many places: California, Japan, Thailand, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. So much blood, sweat, and tears have been shed over those years and to think KISS were there for me in the beginning and they are still stronger than ever today! That is really amazing to think about! I have been a fan since 1983, when I was 11 years old. I bought the best tickets available for the Richmond show, which are in the second row, center stage, but I recently learned about the "Roadie for a Day" promotion for the Freedom to Rock Tour and how KISS have asked service members to join them on stage in certain cities. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to be Roadie for a Day at the Richmond, Virginia show on September 9th. Would you please consider me for this opportunity? I am readily available to participate any way I can! Please feel free to email or call me anytime. It would be an honor! Sincerely, Gunnery Sergeant James Eric Puckett

Thank You Message from the Hero:
I would like to sincerely thank Cindy, Michallie, and Hiring Our Heroes for making this dream come true! Thanks also to Jason and everyone at VetTix! I was able to participate as a "Roadie For A Day" for my favorite band, KISS on their recent "Freedom To Rock" tour. It was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget! It is wonderful to know that there are organizations like VetTix and Hiring Our Heroes that are dedicated to helping veterans! One thing I did almost immediately after the concert was to visit VetTix online and make a donation to another veteran whom I thought could use some support! It took me a few days to figure out how to post this thank you, but believe me when I say I am very appreciative to everyone involved in making this dream come true! Here is a picture of my fiance and I meeting KISS just before they went onstage! Semper Fi! James
