Thank you VetTix for the chance to experience my first hockey game. It was a great game to see with a shoot out to break the tie. Our seats were high up but great for viewing the whole field. I have a better understanding of the game now and will definitely go again. Wonderful time. And I enjoyed that they recognized other Vets that were there at the game. AMAZING!

I took my brother-in-law to see his very first Washington Capitals hockey game when they played the Ottawa Senators on 3-Mar-25. Although it had been my hope he'd see Alex Ovechkin score and get within 10 goals of Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record, five of his teammates ended up scoring instead in a 5-4 win. Nonetheless, it was one of the most exciting hockey games I've ever seen. that was decided in a shoot-out. That combined with the energy in the arena from the capacity crowd on a Monday night made it a very memorable evening for both of us, so thank you for the opportunity!
