Went with my grand-daughter to this play, we were so lucky to get front row seats!! Such a fun and wonderful play with a very thoughtful "Why Not Twist" to the Christmas Carol Story. We added our own "Thank-you Vet Tix" ornament to the theatre Christmas Tree! A perfect way to spend Thanksgiving Eve.

I attended “A Whynot Christmas Carol”, a new version of the Dickens holiday classic, written by playwright Craig Lewis on Wednesday November 27th. What an incredibly exciting introduction to the holiday season! When Director Pam MacKinnon came out to address the audience, she let us know we were just the second audience to ever experience this play. Pretty amazing! I do love theater, especially new works, but my extremely limited, fixed income has made theater-going an impossible luxury. Even discounted prices are often beyond my means. While in high school, I worked as an usher at the Pittsburgh Playhouse during the mid-1960's when ACT was first founded in Pittsburgh, PA, so this experience nearly 60 years later was especially poignant for me. I had a great time watching the ghost of Christmas haunt Mr Scrooge, lol. A timeless take on an old classic. And thank you as always to Vettix and donors for providing these tickets to Veterans - happy Thanksgiving! 🫡🦃🇺🇸

I would like to thank the American Conservatory Theater for donating the tickets for me and my family to watch an enjoyable A Whynot Christmas Carol play. The cast was young and old and they did a wonderful job. Thank you.

Such a fun way to start a holiday period. Thanks to the generous donation of tickets by the American Conservatory Theater, instead of traffic we got to enjoy a fun Christmas play in San Francisco. It was a great way to start Thanksgiving!
