Dear Opera Colorado, Thank you so very much for your generous two tickets so I could enjoy "The Flying Dutchman" with my service dog last evening. It was really wonderful to be able to attend your opera following months of cardiac rehab following my emergency open heart surgery. It felt great to feel a sense of normalcy. This Opera was exactly what I needed, with it's beautiful imagery and message of hope. Thank you very much for your generosity. What a wonderful and cultural show to attend! My husband and I met at the Naval Academy (and then didn’t speak for 10 years) so the theme of the show was quite fitting!

Last night my wife and I attended the Flying Dutchman. Thank you, Opera Colorado. The music was great and we were impressed with the orchestra playing wind, storm and ocean sounds. The story line was different, and we were delighted to attend.
