Thank you Sycuan Casino Theater. The concert was amazing. I (along with multiple other people) missed the first 40 minutes because Will call took forever to issue the tickets. All in all, it was an average experience due to the ticket delivery choice. But thank you for your support of local veterans. The music was amazing and I would not have been able to experience it without your generosity.

This past few months, I've been treated to some of the best music on the planet by some of the most respected and talented people. Many of them have been well into their 70s and even as old as 90! Last night, Sycuan Casino Resort and Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix treated us to a concert by youngsters by any standard who were popular in the 90s and are still under 60. One of the best parts of this is the opportunity to treat my family and friends to come along and listen and experience wonderful musicians and traveled talent. Collective Soul is one of those groups from the 90s that represents a part of music history that can be best categorized as hard rock but not heavy metal. I suppose you can call it easy listening heavy metal. When I program them in Pandora, they are associated with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Pearl Jam, to name a few 90s bands. The most important impression I took away from last night is that I am now a fan. Fun band to watch, listen and they definitely are super dedicated to their music. One of my favorite tunes last night was an acoustic original written by the lead founder Ed Roland is 'Where can I find you Bob Dylan' which should be on the top 40 somewhere. I think locally, they were played on a alternative rock station called 91X. Which I didn't listen to. But that station also discovered and did a lot of play of Jewel. Great night and special thanks to Sycuan Casino Resort and especially Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix for continuing to support our active duty military as well as veterans. Also, Johnnie Scott and Becka treated us to a great meal Rank and File.
