Dear Cirque du Soleil - International Headquarters, words cannot express the gratitude I have for being able to attend Cirque Du Soleil: Kurios - Cabinet of Curiosities show in Atlanta, GA. For the past five years since my son, SPC Etienne Murphy was KIA in 2017, I have not wanted to do much outside of Gold Star Family events. When I saw that tickets were being offered, I was a little hesitant to request them because I didn't know how I would feel going but when my husband said he would love to go I said ok. It was the best decision! I had such a wonderful time! I thought that I would never be able to experience joy again but I was proven wrong! The show was amazing, the performers were the best, just the best!! I didn't want it to end! Now, when my days are tough, I can think about the bicyclist riding her bike upside down, the people having dinner upside down, the yo yo's, the dancing, singing, and that rocking and jamming finale! Thank you for giving me a night of joy and for showing me that there are people who truly care about Gold Star Families! How I wish I could give Mr. Guy Laliberte, Mr. Gilles Ste-Croix, and Mr. Daniel Gauthier a big hug for creating the best contemporary circus! Please know that your shows change people's lives including mine! Thank you for helping me to feel alive again! I am so thankful, this meant the world to me, I'm in tears!!
