Concerts West...shout-out to say Thank You for last night with Roger Waters and his band at PNC Arena in Raleigh! We enjoyed it very much. The music, staging and lighting were fantastic and you made it happen for this Veteran. Did I mention the great seats? Wow. We could and feel the emotions and enjoy all parts of the show. Thank you for your generous donation! This event was a very special occasion. It allowed me the opportunity to bond with my father who recently overcame a long and very intense battle with COVID where we were told by his treatment team to make final arrangements but miraculously he recovered and was discharged from the hospital. My dad has been a fan of Roger Waters' music for over 40 years and the first CD he bought me was Pink Floyd's The Wall. Despite how long he's been a fan, seeing a live show has been on his bucket list but never before did he have the opportunity to go. Bonding with him over music we both love after the ordeal that shook our family to the core was truly one of the most special occasions. I was unable to see Roger Waters or Pink Floyd because times and places they played never coordinated due to my assignments and deployments while serving on active duty. Going to this concert fulfilled a dream I've had since age 17 and joined the military. From the bottom of my heart I say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! As a retiree I sincerely appreciate your support of all active and retired military personnel!
