My family wanted to give a deep grateful thanks to the FPC-Live donors of the 4 tickets gifted to my husband thru Veteran Tickets. He is a DIEHARD fan of Shinedown and as we sat thru the opening acts I have not seen my husband so excited for something since the day he found out he was going to be a father the first time. He spent 9 deployments over in Iraq/Afghanistan and due to a massive IED ambush and then two deployments later a gun battle where he took 14 AK-47 rounds to his upper body neck to waist area he has avoid all crowds of loud events period but he spent all day Saturday shopping for ear muffs for this event but the second the main act arrived on stage he jumped up removed the ear muffs and for the next 2 hours he never sat down he sang every single word to every song and even in the opening song when the exploding Pyrotechnics went off it's like he KNEW they were going to happen. I sat in AMAZEMENT and please understand this I was crying my eyes and heart out. I have been with my husband since the 6th grade and my daughter who was with us along with our best friend all saw the same thing. The man who lived every moment of his life to give and protect his family, friends and country return to the man he was before he left out on that first IED explosion on Jan 4, 2004. That night as we drove home he played Shinedown (of course) from his Amazon prime music account blasting thru the SUV speakers and drove home without any type of anger or anything towards anyone else.. he pulled up to the house jumped out ran over and opened my door and his daughter door. Closed them and ran to the front door unlocked it and our oldest son was over to say hi as I had to call him to tell him. He walked over to him as always he reached out to shake his dads hand and my husband took it and pulled him into a hug and said to him out loud. "I am so proud of you son, you stood up to my nasty hateful attacks because you wanted to follow your dreams. I always told you video games would not get you anywhere in life but to the "punch line of a joke". Your mom told me your new job offer and son I have something for you. He took us out to the garage and in the garage was his grandfathers 1968 Dodge Charger but for the first time in 30 years it was fully restored. He said "take your papis charger and drive it like you earned it because son you EARNED IT AND HAVE MADE ME THE proudest dad on earth. I named GSAF"¦ get somewhere and FAST. I do apologize for the long letter but i really do need to get this out that my 48 yr old husband has struggled with addiction, ptsd, suicidal thoughts, and some of the worst heath issues with pancreatic cancer battling (with out opiates) due to his fight for recovery. That every day since Jan 24th 2013 all 3 of us have wondered if the day would be our last with him. He lost his mom Nov 17th 2021 to Covid and his brother Nov 18 2018 to a police shooting in meridian Idaho, but I write this today Thursday April 7th a few sad after the concert as my husband is out mowing the yard and has a smile ear to ear, he is going bowling tonight for the first time in 15 years. That night the night of the concert as we laid in bed and his PTSD alert doggie jumped up on the bed as always he looked over at me and asked "want to cuddle I don't know but I am just going to say I don't think my dreams will be of anything other than the best band ever tonight, for the first time in 20 years I slept on his chest without fear of him having a night terror and maybe injuring me in the process. This event may have not only saved our marriage, it mended a bad bad situation between our son and him, and it brought back the man we lost years ago. Who knew a concert could RESTORE A MAN to the man he was ! God bless. Wendy Williams. Wife of MSG Williams, Jeffrey A Retired - US Army 75th ranger Recon Platoon 2nd Squad Sniper Team leader.

Thank you so much Vettix and FPC-Live for your continued support for our troops by allowing this opportunity for us to see Shinedown after our time! My family had such an amazing time, and we loved connecting with other veterans while there. It's been quite a while since we've been out to see a live band since COVID and I can say the joy was there again for those of us there. Thank you thank you!

Thank you so much FPC - Live. This was our first time seeing Shinedown and it was not disappointing. They put on such a great show. It was also great to see Pretty Reckless and Diamante as well.
