As I veteran I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend the game at the woodshed. The atmosphere was electric and the game was amazing. The seats you donated provided so much fun for me and my family. We are all essential workers that worked through the pandemic and it was the first time we have been together in two years. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience with my son at the MSU Football game! The atmosphere was electric and an incredibly exciting game that somehow MSU won in overtime. We arrived early and toured the campus and made a day of it. I had a great conversation with my son, explaining the generous nature of the veterans who donate tickets, the idea behind Vet Tix and why it exists. He gave me a couple of dollars to donate to Vet Tix, which made this dad proud that he seems to understand the fighting spirit of our Veterans, and also their generous heart to serve, along with protecting us. Thank you MSU for donating our tickets!! I took 3 friends and once again, made several more of cops I promoted the program too as well as other VetTix'ers. Jerry & Sally had never been to a collegiate football game. Jerry did not even have any Spartan gear to wear!! He did by game's end! The stadium was charged with positive energy and Jerry & Sally were so grateful for the new experience. I shared my sign with other VetTixer's and even jumped into a photo with another who had no sign (his gear was blocked by my sign). Turns out we had 61 mutual FB friends already!!! I am grateful for the memory of being with Jerry & Sally at their first MSU football game!! But not their last! Jenny had not been in 10+ years and I had not been to a Spartan football game since 2014. And the Spartans won!! Go Green!!
