Five years ago, I was walking a very different path than I am today. As a result of the life choices of those around me, I allowed anger, depression and anxiety to put me into a very dark place. I could not have named a single Christian act. But then I found a church home and, soon after, began attending their Celebrate Recovery. Thanks to CR, my sponsor and a wonderful God, I am now a youth leader, a nursery volunteer, shuttle driver and recovery partner who listens to nothing but Christian music! And thanks to generous donors like yourselves, I was able to attend a powerful Christian concert that shows me how great His love and encourages me to keep following the word of Christ. In addition, I was able to invite my sponsor and his daughter to sit beside me and my wife, and bless him with a reward for his selfless dedication to my recovery!
