Thank you for your generous donation. I'm in the Florida visiting my son and his wife and your gift allowed me to take him to the races. We used to go to the local tracks when he was younger and this was a reminder of how much fun we had at the tracks. This is our first event together since his mother and my wife of 33 years passed a few months ago. I also share the 4th ticket with a fellow veteran who is in the area for work and his family is "back home". I can't thank you enough.

What an incredible day and an incredible race. Beautiful weather from start to finish. Great racing from start to finish with the thrill of victory for one and agonizing heartbreak for the others. First and foremost, I want to thank Vet Tix for having the lottery and Daytona Speedway for donating tickets to Vet Tix. This was an event I've always wanted to attend. My family and I are so appreciative to both of these sponsors. It was a full day of excitement and entertainment for us and the actual Daytona 500 was amazing. An experience I will never forget. Congrats to Denny Hamlin. Daytona Speedway's acknowledgement of all branches of military during the event was extraordinary. I was amazed how many times I was stopped by NASCAR fans and thanked for my service. This was one of the most patriotic events I've ever attended. I encourage all active duty military and veterans to participate in the Vet Tix program. You won't regret it.
