I want to thank the donor of these tickets. I was able to take both of my grandsons who had never seen a college game live, and they're both BIG football fans and my daughter is a single parent. This event was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have been to many games over the years but this was the best football game I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand. I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to those who donated the VA Tech vs. UVA Cavs. I am currently serving, and I was able to take my husband, who is an Army Vet, along with our friend who also is an Army Vet, who happens to be a paraplegic. Unfortunately our friends wife could not make it so we were only able to utilized 3 of the 4 tickets which we apologize for. My husband is a Cavaliers fan and our friend is a Hokies fan and the joy of sharing this experience with them was priceless. In addition, due to accommodations for our friend they did sit us in the ADA section that would provide enough room for our friend. This was a bucket list item for two men who have served their country and for me as a Coastie who is currently serving to share in this experience was a bucket list item for me as well. We are truly grateful!!
