Past Hero's Wishes
Hello! My name is SSG David Crabaugh. I have served 14 years in the Army National Guard with 6 of those years being either mobilized for deployment or in the Active Guard and Reserves (AGR) program. I recently returned from an 11 month rotation in the Middle East where I operated in countries such as Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. This recent rotation in which I returned days prior to Thanksgiving was a tough one being away from home unlike the last when deployed to Afghanistan. The reason for this was my two sons, Dresden (7) and Dedrick (5). I thought being gone during the younger years would be easier than when they are older but I thought wrong. The missed birthdays, holidays and spending time with them means so much more at these ages. We have been blessed with good health while I was away serving but now that I am home the boys have one desire to take daddy too, welcome to the idea of Disney World 2023! My wife, Yamilka who is from the country of Panama, is a full time student with the University of Central Missouri working on a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition. This has been challenging for her these past two semesters while I was away. She will be finished in May 2023. I want to surprise them all with a much needed family vacation to Orlando and visit the parks of Disney World and make the boys dream come true and celebrate the success of my wife and show my appreciation to them all. We are seeking assistance with 4 4-day Park Hopper Passes.

Post Deployment Disney World Vacation
Greetings Everyone, My name is Travis Semones and I have recently returned home from a nine and half month deployment onboard USS HARRY S TRUMAN (CVN 75), in which we supported Carrier Strike Group Eight in strengthening our relationship with NATO partnership with our allies. It was originally scheduled to be a six month deployment, however due to the Russian aggression to Ukraine it quickly was extended. I have been in the United States Navy for thirty years now and have been on ten deployments. Of those thirty years in the service I have been married to my wife, Charlotte, for twenty-five of those years. We were fortunate enough to have three lovely children, Briana (24), Kylie, (21) and Brady (14). Unfortunately, due to my time in the service I have had to sacrifice much family time and have been separated from my family for an incredible amount of time and have missed some significant events in my families lives. It would be a great opportunity and honor to be considered for a Hero’s wish and be able to take my family to Disney World with a 5-day park hopper for each person in my family. I am extremely grateful for the consideration. Thank You!

DISNEY WORLD VACATION FOR ACTIVE-DUTY VETERAN RETURNING HOME FROM DEPLOYMENT
I am SSgt. Nicholas Gersper. I am married with no kids "yet". I have been in the military for almost 6 years and have been stationed in Minot North Dakota and Goldsboro North Carolina. I am currently deployed to Qatar. My wife's name is Erica. When I get back I wanted to take my wife Erica to see Blackpink. This was her first time dealing with a deployment as a military spouse and she stayed home alone by herself with our dog the entire time. She has been fantastic during this difficult experience. It has been especially difficult for her as an immigrant from the Philippines and she does not drive a vehicle so it is very difficult for her to be home alone this long as she likes to be very outgoing. I wanted to try to do something really special for her. Tickets can be very expensive. I will be back to the states from my deployment in early to mid June and I'm stationed in North Carolina so I'm requesting the concert in August. I wanted to make sure I repaid her for her effort by taking her to this concert. Thank you for considering my request. V/r SSgt Nicholas Gersper

Blackpink concert ticket request for me and my spouse
My name is Sheldon Albee. I'm currently deployed for a 3rd time in the 10 years I've been active duty in the Air Force. I have a loving wife named Jade and together have two beautiful boys Maverick (4) and Baylor (2). I have missed both of my children’s birthdays along with the holidays this year. My hope is to enjoy a family vacation together when I return home from this deployment. This is my first deployment with a wife and a 2 and 4 year old at home. The last 7 months without our family together has been very hard on us. I have missed every holiday since October, both of our children's birthdays and we would love to make up for it by going on a Disney trip! We haven't been on a family vacation since we have had kids and would love to finally go on one! We have never been to California! Disneyland would absolutely be a dream come true! None of us have ever been to Disney before so were really excited to hopefully be able to go!

My name is SPC Jeremy Shine. I am a father of an awesome 6 year old daughter who was recently diagnosed with severe autism. Our little family has faced some challenges over the years but we are determined to live life to the fullest. While serving in Iraq, just a few months ago, my wife decided to put her career on hold to provide more educational assistance to my daughter, which became emotionally, physically, and financially draining. Especially because my wife has been battling a mental illness of her own. I believe that if given this opportunity, we will be able to reconnect and create new healthy memories post deployment. Who knows what that would mean for my little princess! If you are able, we are requesting 4-day hopper tickets to Orlando’s Disney Theme Parks. We are planning on going August 17-24, 2023. Thank you for your support.

I wish I could share more pictures! Words can not express the impact you provided my family this summer. To be able to visit four Disney World Theme Parks was truly a dream come true. My daughter, who is autistic, actually talked to someone (Princess Ariel) other than my wife and I, for the first time since she was 2! This gift wasn't just an opportunity to spend time together, it provided an opportunity for growth. Thank you sponsors!

A Disney World Dream Come True For My Princess
Hello everyone, my name is IS2 E. Castro. I joined the Navy reserves in 2016 and have been on two deployments so far [one to Jordan (2020), and one throughout Kuwait/Iraq/Syria (2022-2023)]. Unfortunately, this deployment has been pretty rough on my family. From a car accident (car totaled, but no serious injuries), to my oldest son getting sick and having dangerously low platelet counts (now recovered). Throughout all of this (and many other stressors) I managed to persevere and push on with my deployment with the support of my strong family. It was tough not being able to support them in the ways I usually would, but I'm looking to make it up to them in the little ways that I can. I would like to take my wife and three boys out to enjoy a few days at Disney World. None of us have ever been, and my children are absolute Disney fanatics. I would love to see the smiles on their faces and watch their little eyes light up. Please help me in this effort. I appreciate your time and any support towards this goal. Thank you all.

Post deployment Disney trip
My husband and I would love to be able to surprise our 3 girls (Kaidence 13, Makayla 11, and Hailey 5) with a 4 day Park Hopper +Genie Service At the DisneyLand Park in Anaheim California (we would need 5 tickets since we are a family of 5!) This deployment has been tough since I have been away through every family members' birthday and all the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas time frame). I have missed many milestones (including my youngest losing her first teeth!) and events that I normally would be front and center. I would love nothing more than to come home and be able to take a vacation to California to see some of our family and add Disney in our plans! We would love the opportunity to be able to stay at one of the DisneyLand Resort hotels to capture the full experience of the Happiest place on earth!!

Family Disneyland Parks Trip!
Hello, I am a Purple Heart Recipient and Wounded Warrior who is 100% Disabled from being Combat Wounded in Afghanistan. My “Hero's Wish” may seem a bit funny to some but I’m requesting tickets to see Morgan Wallen in Austin, TX on May 24, 2023, it’s not because I think he’s cute hahaha, it’s because I want to surprise my wife with them. My wife has fought for me, for my care, attended every doctor’s appointment leading up to my Med Board process and throughout it, even while 7 months pregnant with our 3rd child. She gave up her career to raise our children, including that 3rd child who was severely disabled by being exposed to toxic mold in base housing. She’s still fighting for me despite having to fight for him nonstop as well now. She’s a rockstar and completely deserves this.. I just can’t afford to make it happen due to have our special needs son. Tricare unfortunately doesn’t cover the doctors, supplements, therapies and testing he needs. Anyway, so my wish is to take her to see Morgan Wallen since he’s coming here in a few months. I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read this and can help fulfill this wish. Thank you and God bless!

I just have to say thank you so very much to Vet Tix and all of the generous donations we received from the generous people listed, my wife and I had an amazing time and a much needed date night! The concert was rescheduled to November due to Morgan losing his voice and we found out a month before the concert that my wife was pregnant again, so our baby girl’s first concert was Morgan Wallen (by default) as well! This organization and the wonderful people above have truly blessed our family and we’re forever grateful for the experience!! Thank you and Semper Fi!

Morgan Wallen Tickets for Austin, TX
My name is James Campbell. I am being medically retired after nearly 14 years of military service in the United States Navy. Life has been difficult for my family. In 2013, I deployed to Afghanistan with a Tier 1 Special Operations Joint Taskforce. In many ways, it was the most rewarding experience of my life - in others the deployment had severe consequences for my family and myself. The OPSTEMPO was relentless, we were manned ISR supporting near daily air strikes and compound raids. I suffered a mild Traumatic Brain Injury in country, I began to have nightmares, and was suspicious of everyone. My wife had left me during the deployment, and I came home a single father of my two sons. I remarried in 2018 in Las Vegas to my amazing and supportive wife Brittany, who took on my sons as her own. A month later, we did a PCS move to Hawaii for a desk job as an intelligence analyst and we thought life was going to be our honeymoon. It wasn't. In 2019, due to my military affiliations, my family was stalked by an extremist who wrote a manifesto planning to do heinous acts to my wife and our two sons. He has since murdered his cell mate and our life has not been the same since the home invasion. Our life literally became a lifetime special. We have moved from state to state to state, first on Humanitarian Support orders, then again because medical treatment wasn't available due to COVID restrictions. I suffer from Chronic Severe PTSD related to the combat and civilian traumas. Brittany has been incredibly supportive, and we had a baby girl who is now a year old. I've been to every level of treatment that exists, residential, partial hospitalization, group, etc etc etc. Even tried Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy. I can't seem to get back to where I was. Admittedly, this began back in 2013, but I couldn't manage more than one session of exposure therapy. Now that my service is wrapping up, I feel defeated, like I have let my family down. I am being rated 100% P&T for combat related PTSD with comorbid TBI, Narcolepsy, and Migraines amongst others. I would love for the opportunity to receive 4-day park hopper tickets to take my wife and the kids to Disneyland. I don't like to get out of the house, but I think with the right accommodations through guest services, I would love to just feel like a normal family again.

Luz, Kimberly, John in honor of PFC Walter Stevenson, Herbert, and the Hero's fund, I cannot express strongly enough how meaningful this was to me and my family. It is easy to feel lost in the mix.
