Past Hero's Wishes
My name is GMG3 Glenn Cernosek. I am a 100% disabled Navy veteran. I served in Vietnam on river patrol boats (PBR's). I was wounded and have PTSD. The Veterans Administration has published documents that prove that art activities, such as painting, can help someone with PTSD cope with those difficulties. I would like to attend a workshop to learn to oil paint in the outdoors, and learn to sell my paintings to supplement my income. The Plein Air Convention & Expo will be held next year in Denver Colorado, May 2-6, 2020. There are over 80 top master artists that will be teaching at this event. There are also sessions about how to market my paintings. The event is fully explained at www.PleinAirConvention.com

My name is TSgt Ryan Marra. I am in the Air Force, Security Forces career field and currently deployed to the Middle East. I have been in the Air Force for over 18 years out of New Jersey. I met and married my wife of 15 years while I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Since then we have 2 awesome, resilient children that have been all over the world. Now that I'm currently deployed, I want to give back to my family after all these moves that I've put them through after volunteering for so many different things while in the Air Force. With this possibly my last deployment, I need some help setting up a trip to Disney in Florida for them. Once I return I want to take them to Disney World in Orlando. I thank you for your consideration and help.

My name is MSgt Kyle Overby. I am from Wisconsin and currently stationed in North Carolina. I would love to take my family of 5 to see the Milwaukee Bucks play against the Charlotte Hornets when they play on March 1st. It would be our first NBA game. We would love for our first experience at an NBA game to be as close to the court as possible. That would be amazing although we would all just be excited to see a game in person.

Hello, I am TSgt Edric Johnson. I am currently in month 4 of a 6 month deployment at an undisclosed location. This is my second deployment in 3 years. My lovely wife (Debra) and daughter (Sydney) have been patiently awaiting my return. This hasn't been the easiest of deployments cause we miss each other terribly. I'm sure it's not easy on all of my fellow brothers and sister in arms who are away from their loved ones. Sydney and Debra have been my pillar of strength to help me through this deployment. To show my deepest gratitude, I am making a Hero's Wish. I would love to receive 3 Disney World 4 day park hopper tickets and give them the experience of a lifetime. Thank you for your support.

Ski trip to Wintergreen
My name is SFC Victor Long. I am currently on my 5th overseas deployment, and coming up on my 16th year of service with the US Army. I've missed countless birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, my son's first day of kindergarten, family events, etc. My wife is our family's cheerleader, supporter, advocate, teacher, nurse, taxi driver and more. Our 5 year old son was diagnosed with Autism right before his 2nd birthday. She always makes certain he has every resource, therapy session, doctor's visit, and specialized care he needs to thrive. My dream is to surprise my wife and son with a trip to Disneyland. It has been their wish to go when I return from deployment. Due to my unpredictable schedule, we haven't been able to take a family vacation since our son was born 5 years ago, and I would love this opportunity to reconnect as a family at The Happiest Place on Earth!

Family Reconnection at DisneyWorld
I'm not sure if this fits the mold of the regular wish, but if I only get one chance I want to swing for the fences. I'm asking for 5 of the lowest tier Disneyland Season Passes while I go through VOC Rehab to get job retraining. I've been unemployed or severely underemployed for over a year and I desperately need to get into a new job field. The VA is going to provide that retraining in the IT field, so there is light at the end of the tunnel. However, I'm going to be gone most days from sun up to well past sundown for the next 7 months. We live very close to Disneyland, California, and my young kids still see all the Magic. It would be amazing to be able to take them for a few hours here and there over the next few months to help pass the time. I cant help feel greedy asking for season passes but minus the cost of travel the difference from a single day use ticket isn't much. Thank you!

Thank You Message from the Hero:
From the bottom of my heart, and my families, I want to thank all the donors who made this trip possible. I never got to experience Disneyland until I was almost an adult, so the "magic" of the "Magic Kingdom" was lost on me. But watching my young kids, wide eyed, meet the characters, ride the attractions and stare up into a brilliant fireworks display really allowed me to see the park through their eyes. Magic is absolutely the perfect term to describe what they were experiencing. These are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you all so much for helping make this trip a reality! We, the Payan Family want to Thank the donors for making this dream a reality. Our boys had a wonderful time going to Disneyland as a family and we were also able to get on the latest ride, "rise of the resistance" on Star Wars land. It debuted last week and was selling out each day, within minutes of the park opening. Truly ecstatic to experience that the first week of being open. Making everlasting memories at the happiest place on earth (DL). Thanks again Vet Tix and to our three donors that made all this possible. V/R Mizael Payan

My name is SGT Aaron Keehn. I have a beautiful family. An amazing wife and beautiful 4 yr old little girl named Lily Rose. I would love to take my wife and daughter to Walt Disney World upon return from deployment. This is my second deployment, and I can't think of a better way to make up for lost memories, than building new ones at Walt Disney World. I would like to make a Hero's Wish to request (3) Disney World 5-day park hopper tickets for my family.
