Our Sunday evening was a blast thanks to the generous donation of tickets from The Mountain Winery to see Elle King and the Rainbow Girls. I had been to this venue once before and I am happy to say it is still one of the best music venues around. Not too large of a capacity keeps it feeling very friendly and inviting and I do not think there is a bad seat in the house. My daughter loves Elle King so it was quite a fun evening for her too!

And though it was with a heavy heart that we enjoyed it as we learned that lonely boys would be in attendance this evening as they chose wisely to be with her father, as he was given 24 hours to live at Showtime, and everybody wrapped up in their condolences for the band and Los Lobos just blew the whole show out of the park. It was amazing and dedicated to the father. Son Rompe Pera Play extended sets to make up for the time and they were amazing as well thank you thank you and again thank you to those who made these opportunities to us Veterans available. It was such a great venue, and the concert was totally great! Many oldies from when we grew up! Frankie is 90 years old, and we loved that he could still get up and entertain a crowd. It brought tears to my eyes because my mom who has passed loved those songs!

What is more, I love how intimate the venue feels. Last night's The Revivalists concert was outstanding. Previously, I had enjoyed their music, but until you've seen them live you can't appreciate what an amazing ensemble they are. They enhance the listening experience by playing to the crowd and displaying genuine emotion. You could feel they were practiced stage performers who knew how to entertain.

The music matched with your acoustics was incredible, the hour & forty-five minutes went by too fast. We had heard of your venue but were still amazed by the location and its panoramic views, it was well worth the 3-hour drive from our home in the foothills around Folsom, CA. We gladly spent over $200 on food, wine, & parking there and frankly it would have been beyond our financial reach with the hotel, etc. Again, thank you for your kindness. The twilight in Saratoga, California, painted the Mountain Winery in hues of lavender and gold last Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 8 PM. I sat, not in a starched uniform this time, but under the open sky in Section BL32, a gift of four digital tickets appearing in my account—a portal to an evening unlike any since my service as a prior-enlisted Air Force officer. The smooth sounds of Harry Connick, Jr. and His Band washed over me and my guests, chasing away years of tension with every note. It was a melody of pure appreciation, a reminder of the beauty that exists beyond the world of duty and serving in the defense of our nation. And, somewhere between the swaying crowd and the starlit sky, my heart overflowed with a gratitude deeper than any salute.

Words fail to capture the depth of my gratitude for the phenomenal gift of four (4) tickets to see the Parliament Funkadelic with the legendary George Clinton at the Mountain Winery! As a veteran, a former prior-enlisted Air Force officer, this generosity truly touched a deeper chord. It was a day etched in the fabric of my soul. The concert itself was a transcendent educational experience. Witnessing the electrifying presence of George Clinton, a man radiating pure P-Funk energy at 82, was a privilege beyond measure. The entire band pulsed with infectious grooves, igniting the crowd into a joyous frenzy. It was a communion of music, a celebration of life itself. However, fate seemed to weave a mystical web around the evening. The performance ended late at 10:30 PM. The venue signaled for the band to end by turning on all of the lights surrounding us and turning off the stage lights. Mr. Clinton shrugged his shoulders accepting it was time to go and waived goodbye to everyone. This minor inconvenience took on a profound significance upon learning of the horrific and fatal multi-vehicle accident on the Fremont freeway that very night. Considering a usual concert ends at 9:30 PM, a shiver runs down my spine. It's quite possible, we could have been right in the thick of the collisions. In a strange twist of providence, the delay became a serendipitous blessing. The joy of the concert now intertwines with profound gratitude. My heart overflows with prayers for the families affected by the tragedy. This serves as a stark reminder of life's preciousness, of the need to cherish every fleeting moment. The tickets gifted more than just a concert; they gifted a heightened awareness of life's blessings and the invisible hand of fate that sometimes guides us.

This was my first time attending an outdoor event since I completed my cancer treatments. I was very enjoyable listening to the music at an outdoor amphitheatre that has beautiful peaceful views. Thankfully to whoever donated the tickets to allow me and my wife to attend this concert.
