It is always such a joy to attend a Phoenix Symphony concert especially one in which the Concert Master, Steve Moeckel, is the featured soloist. We thank the Phoenix Symphony for donating these tickets so that we could witness Mr. Moeckel's love and mastery of the violin. This was a particularly enjoyable concert with hummable melodies, a World-Class world premier and Tchakovshy's Fifth Symphony. Great works. Many thanks to the Phoenix Symphony and VetTix. This was an excellent concert. The Quiet in the Land piece was quite nice with some nice melodies. The flute duet sounded like waterfalls very nice. It was cool that Mr. Fuchs was there to acknowledge the acclaim. The Korngold concerto was very good. Mr. Moeckel delivered a performance with great passion, which he frequently does as concertmaster. The 5th symphony is a real classic. The orchestration is wonderful with the interplay between the woodwinds and the horns, the brass and others. The horn solo was very good. Maestro Munoz did a great job of bring it all out without the benefit of a score on the podium. Thanks again. .

A fantastic concert at Symphony Hall last night!! First meeting Mr Fuchs - the young composer of the first piece played, then a beautiful piece with a violin soloist, Phoenix' own Concertmaster, Steven Moeckel, a very talented musician. We also enjoy Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony in the 2nd half, but the first half was just really the tops!! Thanks to The Phoenix Symphony for donating tickets to VetTix so that so many veterans can enjoy the great Phoenix Symphony!
