I would like to thank Live Nation, Kevin Gates and Vet Fix for making my trip to Cincinnati possible. I'm an old dude, but every once and awhile I like to do some young people stuff. And a hip hop show featuring Kevin Gates is just what I needed. During his show he made a statement about whining why me when bad things happen. He now takes the stance of why not me. I'm currently dealing with some family drama and internally I've been having a pity party. But after Kevin made that statement I immediately changed my attitude. This is nothing compared to my time in Iraq and I will be an even better person once this is all said and done. I needed to hear that from him and it made me extra thankful for the opportunity to attend the show. Well worth the 4 hour round trip. Go see him if he's going to be near your home.
