Thank you so much to The Lincoln Center Veterans Initiative for the tickets to Midsummer Night Swing and especially the great concert by Bobby Rydell. The evening was very hot, but the jazz by the City Rhythm Orchestra was very cool. We were fortunate enough to meet another Vet and his wife, Rose & Pete, and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful evening of dance and music. It's also good to note that Bobby Rydell is also a Vet and did his AIT at Ft. Dix (NJ) at the same time I did. Years later he was a frequent guest on my Philadelphia radio show.

What an awesome night! Thank you so much to the Lincoln Center and their support for veterans. The event hosts were so welcoming and the food/drink tickets were much appreciated. My sister and I enjoyed watching the dance lessons and the dancers on stage. The Rhythm Orchestra and Bobby Rydell were great. All in all - a very pleasant evening. Now - we want to try a Salsa night!!

We had such a great time last night at Lincoln Center. I recommend this event to all veterans and active duty members. Thanks to Ed for coordinating and the LCVI for inviting Vettix members to attend. This is the first event we've attended that included refreshments for Vettix guests, which was such a nice surprise. We played ping pong and spent hours making friends with a retiree, and didn't even make our way to the dance floor! If we had known about the mandatory back check fee we wouldn't have brought a bag and maybe would have danced but we enjoyed every minute mingling in the open air and just listening to the band.

It was a lovely summer evening full of great music and fun. The Lincoln Center veteran and community section had a section set aside for veterans to sit and offered great refreshments. Thank You.
