Thank you for the GJ Rockies tickets! My wife and I have been trying to go to a game for a few years now and every time we have tried the game was rained out. NOT last night!! It was a fabulous game. The Rockies scored 5 in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game and then with 2 outs in the 9th won it on a walk-off home run. I even caught a foul ball that I gave to my friends (also a veteran) 5 year old son. We had a great experience all the way around. The only curious thing with this event and the other GJ Rockies events I see listed on Vet Tix is the quantity of tickets is 3 and must be 3. Most people requesting these tickets would most likely request 2 or 4. Per the Vet Tix rules, all the tickets must be scanned and used and they are sometimes hard to even give away. Luckily, my friend Josh and his family were able to make the game last night or we would have only been able to use 2 of the 3 tickets that were donated. Thank for for donating the tickets. We hope to be able to attend more Grand Junction Rockies games in the future!
