I am not even sure what I can say to express my gratitude for this event! I am still in disbelief I was under the same roof as the legendary Gladys Knight! What a spectacular performance! Ms. Knight sang her heart out, and she really engaged the audience and connected with them! It was truly an honor to be there to see and hear her live onstage! I loved hearing the old feel good songs! Ms. Knight still looks fabulous! Clearly, that was "The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me!" Thank you is simply not enough! But, thank you truly from the bottom of my heart to Sweetwater Performance Pavilion for presenting a moment in time that we will forever cherish! This was definitely a dream come true for me! We drove from Charleston, WV for this opportunity, and it was well worth it! My daughter and I always enjoy the bonding time on the road. Sweetwater Performance Pavilion has a very nice setup, and it was clean. We were able to park close to the gate. Security was amazing. Staff was fabulous. I did have a slight issue getting between the rows to our center seats with my Rollator, but the very sweet couple beside us helped work it out. We met a few super sweet Veterans. I thanked them for their service and loaned out my sign again.
