I had looked at Avril tickets when they went on sale, but - my husband has been out of work due to cancer treatment for the last several months, and I couldn't justify the expense. So being able to tell my daughter that I had tickets for us to go see Avril, and to share the experience of a musician we both have appreciated at different times over the years, was awesome. We had a great time, and spending that time away from cancer and treatments was special. For Portland's Centers for the Arts to donate these tickets was such a kindness, probably in a way that wouldn't have been imagined. So thank you so very much!
