What an awesome experience! I finally had the chance to take my Dad (also a veteran who served in Air Force during the Korean War) to the "new" Yankee Stadium. I did not realize that even as a life long Yankee fan my 82 year old father had not been to the rebuilt "House that Ruth Built". I have to say that I felt no difference from my first Yankee game when I was 7 years old. The anthem was playing, Dad reminded my to remove my cap, and put his hand on my shoulder as he sang. Fifty-three years later, I'm now 60 and we repeated the scene. I felt the hand and heard the voice. I was seven years old, again. Special thanks to the donors. You are truly angels to recreate a moment in time. What a special day for two appeciative veterans.
